My logbook
Your progress lives in this browser, on this device, and nowhere else. The logbook lets you take it with you: a file you download, keep wherever you like, and load back on another device.
What the site knows about you: nothing. No account, no password, no visitor database waiting to be stolen. The usual price for that is starting from scratch when you change phone. The logbook removes that price without taking anything back: the file never passes through the site, in either direction. You can check for yourself — open your browser’s network tab, then click “Download”. Nothing leaves.
Loading adds, it never overwrites. If this device is already further along, that progress is kept: the two are merged. You cannot lose work by picking the wrong file.
The file is readable as it is, in any text editor. That is deliberate: you should be able to see what it contains rather than take our word for it. It is the lesson from the Crypto module turned back on the site itself — what you hold yourself depends on no one.
